Let me update you...

I've been spending too much time on facebook and neglecting my poor old blog!

Sullivan and I fed the baby ducks this morning, so sweet. Last year there were loads but only 7 today, hopefully it is because it is early in the year and not many have hatched yet. I hope it is nothing to do with the tractor and digger from the Environment Agency that were in the duck field this morning...

I'm actually writing this through tears at the moment as I have just listed my lovely bus on eBay. It has been decided that we need to sell him in order to save money and I am so so sad. Unfortunately there is no going back now as my Dad lent us the money to get Bluey fixed so we have to sell him in order to pay Dad back.

One of the reasons I agreed to move here was because I could drive and had my own car. Luckily I've made some great friends now but I am dreading the isolation that will possibly come with not being able to jump in the car and go places. I know it's only a lump of metal and there are worse things that could be happening but I am still so very very sad. :(

Let's hope we get a good price for him at least.

Happy post next time.

Best of luck with the sale. I don't have a car and have got so used to my bike and public transport. its harder with little ones though.

Is there decent public transportation where you live? I know getting on a bus or train with kids in tow is not the most... relaxing of activities, but it's better than being stuck in the house.
Or if traffic is fairly tame, you may be able to bike places. Cheaper and good for you!

The buses are good enough, and I will definitely be getting on my bike this summer!
