Good Enough?

Do you think this is good enough for a Mother's day present? I've made it for my MIL. It is a mini clapotis, using the instructions from Kpixie.

Let me know :)

It's made in 100% silk. Should I block it to stop it being so curly when it's on?

I'm having serious self doubt in this project!

I think it's gorgeous! Certainly much better than a card or flowers like most mother's get. Or what I always get my mom - a phone call saying "Happy Mother's Day". heh.

Definitely block it. It can never hurt.

It's very pretty and would make a beautiful gift. I would block it. Almost everything looks better after blocking.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I think your mini clapotis might be the one that inspires me to make one for myself. I have now spent all morning looking for just the right yarn!

Beautiful! Looks really soft! Wow, so that's the size mine is supposed to be..well if I ever get it done ;)

I think it would make a lovely gift! Good job!

It's beautiful and she can't fail to like it. The yarn is lovely. I'd block too, it will make a heck of a difference and probably put your mind at rest.

It's beautiful; definitely a lovely Mother's Day present. Blocking made my Clapotis curl a lot less, but I've since discovered that I in fact prefer wearing it 'inside out' (as Kate herself said, 'WS is better!') and roll it round to make it curl as much as possible, so I don't think it matters a lot.

I'd be delighted to receive such a gift, particularly in this weird undecided spring.

It looks lovely! (I think if ever I make a Clapotis, it will probably be a mini one, and pure silk sounds wonderful for it).
