Mini Knitting

I treated myself to Last Minute Knitted Gifts last week and Mr. Amazon delivered it on Saturday. This is the mini sweater pattern, I had to try it it! Fiddly but fun.

Too small for Barbie and too big for Shelly, so....

Meet Ally, a 4 Ever Best Friends doll and one of Emilia's favourites (in fact she collects them and their accessories but shops in the UK don't seem to stock them any more :( ). She is wearing a Noro Silk Garden mini sweater, knit on 5mm dpns. A ponytail hat of my own design as well as a pair of kick flare legwarmers. The patterns will be coming soon.

Can you see that she is looking after a mini stocking that is almost finished? I am really enjoying this tiny knitting....

Here's the finished stocking. Made in a sock yarn that I swapped for ages ago - I've lost the yarn label so have no idea what it is called or who makes it. It was left over from a pair of socks that I made Emilia.

I didn't manage to get started on my Olympic Knitting Project. I'm still making E's ballet cardigan and really want to get that finished before I start anything else. Making these mini things have got rid of the 'bored' factor from making the ballet cardigan, so it is full steam ahead!

Happy Valentines Day, btw! Dh bought me a gorgeous swarovski crystal bracelet and hid it in a box of chocs. It's very pretty, deep pink and plums in a stylized flower design. He'll get his present later as I've not finished it yet.

That's it for now, I'm off to town before it rains.

That is so cute.

My Nana used to knit jumpers for my brother's Action Men, it reminds me of them.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I love your Klaralund, it is beautiful. Where is that pattern from, thinking to make one for myself. Thanks again.
