Jodie's Armband

This is the crochet armband that I have designed for a bride to wear. She has a partially lasered tattoo on her arm which she wants hidden for her wedding day. I didn't want to make something too heavy so we decided on a crochet wire band. As it is for a wedding I used Swarovski crystals instead of Czech pressed glass. The wire is 28 gauage and I used a 4 mm crochet hook. I'd like to submit the pattern to www.Knitty.com but I don't think it will be accepted as it is crochet, not knitting. Heigh Ho! I hope it fits her. I'll let you know what she thinks of it later on today....

That's gorgeous! What a lovely thing for her to keep to remind her of her wedding day! Can we see it on the bride on the big day please?

it looks amazing, I am sure she'll love it....who's modelling it in your photo? I though it was an arm band but it looks like a necklet (o am I doing a Mavis?) xx
