Stained Glass

I finished this at night school last night. The soldering is awful but I'm pretty pleased with it. I've come to the conclusion that I prefer Applique and copper foil to lead work.

Had another wonderful weekend, Mum and Barry came to stay and we went to Thomas' Naming Ceremony which was good. It's lovely seeing M&B, they are so kind and gentle. So creative too! Unfortunately Maddie was sick on them and Jez was ill with it on tuesday. Millie and I just had the high temperature. Hope we didn't pass it on Mum!?

no you didn't pass it on, in fact my ear is fine now! I must get going with my photoblog again....been making Christmas cards, the lady that owns the hairdressers that goes to camera club took 6 packs of 5 cards and said they will fly out of her shop! We shall see!

Love you lot, hope you're all better now..

The cake ingredients look like jewels, I can't wait to taste the results...mmmmmm

I had to make a boiled pineapple fruit cake after seeing the photo ;^)

If anyone is going to be sick on us then I think I would choose my grandchildren....eugh!!

Beautiful! My mom does stained glass work. I've always wanted to try making a small panel like that.

Stained glass is one of very favorite hobbies. MOF, I am making some SG ornaments right now.

I love the copper foil method better also, but there is a place for the lead, like for windows!

Hugs to you. I miss you!
