Faery Tales

Had a busy weekend so far, Yesterday Emilia's teacher came round for the introductory home visit. She is settling in well and looks like she will be getting on brilliantly at school - Good girl!

I took her to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe yesterday afternoon. What a wonderful film although the beginning made me very tearful - not sure why though, good job it's dark at the pictures! E thoroughly enjoyed herself, she found a couple of bits quite scary and literally jumped out of her seat at one point. She did really well for a 4.5 yr old watching such a long film.

I've been gardening today. Sorted out all the pots in the front. Bought some primulas, anemone blanda, crocus, Corsican mint and a beautifully scented Sweet Box. The front of the house looks a lot more welcoming now :)

Right off to finish cooking tea, Wild Boar and Apple sausages with rosemary and garlic potatoes, butternut squash, brocolli and onion gravy. YUM!

I actually came here to look at your Klaralund - spectacular! but had to comment that the opening of the Lion, Witch and Wardrobe had a similar effect on me. It was both chilling and darkly poetic, and a stark reminder of how so many children were divided from their families. Anyway, I too was glad it was dark in the theatre :)

Great Noro projects! I'll have to try some Aurora soon, too!
